Each racer and pit crew member has a close connection to someone battling cancer. Some of our family members and close friends have battled cancer and won! And sadly, some of them have lost. We hope fewer families have to experience the pain, stress, and overall hardship of a loved one suffering through treatments or losing a loved one, altogether, due to cancer. We will NEVER FORGET those whom have passed from cancer.
Every dollar provided to the American Cancer Society goes towards eliminating cancer as a major health concern. The money raised is central to supporting their mission, which aims to fight cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service. Together, we share a hope for a tomorrow free of cancer.

Cancer Fighters
Adam Weckel (8 year old ATV racer #522) is a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with a Ewing's Sarcoma tumor in his left forearm when he was nine months old. He beat the cancer but did lose his left forearm and hand. He got excellent care at the University of Iowa but that whole program works closely with ACS and St. Judes Hospital.
Scherwin Costello - Jerry's uncle passed away in April 2008 from colon cancer.
Sally Houle - Jennifer's grandmother passed away in 2003 from cancer.
Steve Hendrickson - Jennifer's uncle passed away on fathers day weekend in 2006 from Cancer.
Kay Dordal - Kristina's mom is a Breast Cancer survivor.
